Nicky Hayden + Repsol Honda + Phillip Island 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 (all 990cc), 2007, 2008 (those two 800cc), 2016 (1000cc)

Marco Melandri will retire from racing at the end of the 2019 SBK season.
With 1 World Championship in 2002 in 250cc class, 22 victories and 62 podiums in MotoGP, and 22 victories and 75 podiums in SBK (for now) he will be truly missed in the world of motorsport. I still remember one of his sentences which I’ve always though as perfect for bike racing: “The only enemy is the asphalt”. I wish this guy all the best for him and his family.
